The Beygency Dilemma

Disclaimer...I like Beyonce....I like Beyonce, I really do and even now while writing this I feel her hive prepping to destroy my soul and scatter it in multiple directions. Listen the way she dropped her album with no promotion and all videos done was risky and genius. It might even change the way marketing and promotions are done in the future but I have an issue. One big issue, it's not her, it's you guys...The Hive....the ones who will kill to make sure their "Queen"(No shade, no shade)goes unscathed. You guys scare me...no one is perfect yet you all act and behave as if she cured all major diseases. When did this happen?  Does her music contain magic mind altering lyrics? If Bey decided to go to war her army rival the U.S. These are things that need to be considered, if Beyonce went all dictator on us, would we(non Hive) be strong enough to survive her onslaught? The sheer reason I'm writing this points out a problem, I'm a fan of many artists and yet I am clear minded enough to see flaw and imperfection...you guys not so much? Beyonce trips and falls....oh never happened and all evidence and those who speak on it are never heard from again. Videos gone. The Beygency strikes again. Funny thing is, I began writing this before the Beygency skit debuted, they say there is seriousness in all jokes.  So while the skit may be funny don't think for a second the hive is not out there monitoring all mentions about their "Mova"(Again..No shade, no shade) By the way "Love on top is one of the greatest songs in history, no debate.

Real American Appreciation

As a kid you had to be a Hulkamaniac, sure other wrestlers were popular but Hogan was the man, the say your prayers and eat your vitamins. The hulking up....the shirt rip....the hand over the ear to the crowd....nostalgia at it's finest.  To this very day he still has the best entrance music

Kendrick Lamar & Imagine Dragons 2014 Grammy Performance

You'd have to be damn near a zombie not to get hype off this performance, two incredible songs mashed up correctly(Take notes Glee). Kendrick is a star and if there was any doubt before this has erased all that....All hail the future king!!

Eminem "Rap God"

The newest release of the highly anticipated MMLP2....this mans flow is ridiculous on the track....especially the third verse...my gawd...there's levels to the Mc'ing game and Em is definitely at the top level. He sounds hungry and seems to have a bit of a chip on his shoulder and that folks is always a good thing for Hip Hop

Kendrick Lamar Bet Cypher Drake Diss

Ladies and gentlemen, the man who in my opinion reinvigorated Hip Hop comes out swinging at the BET awards with some not to subtle shots at Drizzy...this is what I enjoy...artists competing...no offense to Dj Khaled but this is the best....posse cuts are good but witnessing the crown being chased is even better...but i'll touch on that later. For now watch and enjoy

Drake- Wu Tang Forever

Expected a whole different vibe due to the title but it's a cool album track and that second verse makes up for some of the simp like behavior on the track...pay attention the the lyrics, sounds like he's referring to a certain former couple on this

Kanye West Rant @ Pusha T's Album Listening

You know it was coming....another famous Yeezy rant, but I can't lie...this had me hype. Always enjoyable when you hear an artist speaking from the heart....some of what was said down below

Aye yo this Yeezy right now speaking to y’all. This the heart of the muthaf**king city, act y’all ain’t have that muthaf**king Clipse album and shit. Act like y’all ain’t base y’all whole shit, whole lifestyle off this ni**a Pusha T. Everything is Pusha T. Pyrex Vision, that’s Pusha T. Fear of God, that’s Pusha T. This ni**a the heart of the muthaf**king culture for you culture vultures. This the only ni**a spitting that wild muthaf**king shit right now, that’s why I stand next to this ni**a. I don’t give a f**k about none of these corporations, none of these f**king sellouts, this muthaf**king Pusha T.

This is the f**k we make. We make good music, we make good music. We don’t give a f**k about how much god damn money you make, we make good music.

I’m a little twisted off that Goose right now, I might get loose right now. We don’t give a f**k…..we don’t give a f**k. Ni**a this is that culture, this is that culture….for everybody stealing the culture for all ni**as trying to do their camo prints at MAGIC, this is Pusha T.

All these ni**as trying to extend their muthaf**king t-shirts, trying to throw numbers on the back of their shit….this muthaf**king Pusha T. For ni**as with a t-shirt line that has numbers at the back of their shit, f**k you.

This DONDA, this Matt Williams, this Virgil Abloh, this Ferris Bueller, this is muthaf**king Pusha T. I’m done.
